TV personality and co-founder of Goge Africa, Nneka Isaac Moses has shared an emotional account of one of the most difficult moments in her marriage, revealing how she slipped into a coma after losing her first pregnancy.
Speaking during an interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast alongside her husband, Isaac Moses, the Goge Africa co-founder recounted the traumatic experience that nearly claimed her life.
According to Nneka, complications from the pregnancy loss caused severe bleeding, leaving her unconscious for several days while doctors struggled to stabilize her condition.
She disclosed that she remained in a coma for four days and had no awareness of what was happening around her during that period.
Recalling the emotional moment she regained consciousness, Nneka said, “I was in a coma for 4 days; I woke up and saw my husband praying beside me.”
She explained that when she eventually opened her eyes, she initially believed she had died because of the strange feeling of waking up after being unconscious for so long.
Nneka revealed that her husband, Isaac Moses, had remained by her bedside throughout the ordeal, praying continuously and hoping she would survive the medical emergency.
According to her, the moment she touched him, Isaac immediately realized she was alive and quickly alerted the doctors attending to her.
The couple reflected on how the painful experience strengthened their bond and deepened their appreciation for life, faith, and family despite the heartbreak of losing their unborn child.
