According to a recent video by Talk to B aired on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, 21-year-old Adelu Ibukunoluwa has opened up about her traumatic journey, from childhood neglect to becoming pregnant at age 18 by her mother’s pastor.
Speaking on the show, Adelu revealed that she grew up feeling unloved by her father and grandmother, who allegedly favored her older sister. “They told me it was because she was born with tears; that is why they love her more,” she said. Her parents had separated before her birth, and her mother brought her to her father’s home when she was three years old.
The situation escalated when Adelu, then 18, attacked her grandmother with a pestle after years of emotional abuse. “I did it until she fainted,” she admitted. Her father subsequently disowned her.
Unable to stay with her remarried mother, Adelu moved in with her mother’s pastor. She became pregnant at 18 while living there. She later left to live with the baby’s father, a 35-year-old man who allegedly mistreated her. Her family reportedly tried to take the child from her, and she eventually lost the baby under unclear circumstances.
