Former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has said he prefers to be recognized as a scholar and academic rather than as a former governor.
Speaking in an interview with EDMUND OBILO, Fayemi explained that politics and public office were only part of his service to the people, stressing that academia remains his primary profession.
He noted that he has returned to university teaching and scholarship, adding that being governor was only a temporary assignment and not the true definition of his career.
