In a video shared by AIT on Monday, May 18, 2026, Asia said her family has seen the post made by former deputy spokesperson of the APC Timi Frank about El-Rufai and they are deeply worried
Asia also stated that the DSS officials who took El-Rufai into custody said none of El-Rufai’s relatives would be allowed to see him again in detention
In Asia’s words: “We are worried as a family because we have just seen what Timi Frank has said. And they have told us point blank that no family members will see him again so what happens to his feeding? Does that mean that they will feed him themselves?
