In a recent video on his official Facebook page on Sunday, May 17th 2026, fresh concerns have emerged within Nigeria’s political space following a new warning issued by Primate Elijah Ayodele regarding the future of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Oyo State.
The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church made the remarks during a recent address in which he cautioned the ruling party against internal actions capable of triggering deeper political problems ahead of future elections.
“Anyway, that is not the main issue. There are more problems ahead for APC,” Ayodele stated while addressing members of his congregation and political followers.
The cleric further warned that unresolved disagreements and political tensions within the party could create instability in Oyo State if urgent steps are not taken by party leaders.
“If they are not careful, they may go beyond limits, and that could damage APC in Oyo State,” he said. “Oyo State is not yet settled because there is going to be a crisis. Tinubu should address it urgently.”
