In a recent statement via his official X account, Paul Ibe, media aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has criticized President Bola Tinubu over what he described as a growing pattern of sectional politics and exclusion in governance.

In his post, Ibe shared and referenced comments by public affairs analyst Farooq Kperogi, who questioned the administration’s relationship with Northern Nigeria and accused the government of pursuing policies that do not reflect national balance.
According to Ibe, Nigeria requires leadership that treats every region fairly and promotes unity rather than policies perceived to favour certain groups over others, he argued that the country’s diversity demands inclusive governance capable of carrying all sections of the nation along.
The Atiku aide suggested that recent political appointments and policy decisions have created concerns among some Nigerians, especially in the North, who believe they are being sidelined, he maintained that the presidency must avoid actions that deepen ethnic or regional divisions at a time when the country is already facing serious economic and security challenges.
