Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy has taken to his official X account on May 13,. 2026 to react to the comment that was made by the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
This came after the former governor of Anambra state said if elected as the President of Nigeria, he won’t spend more than four years in office.
According to Peter Obi;
“I want to be a one-term President because of stability. I will not stay a day longer than four years even with a gun to my head”.
Reacting, Bayo Onanuga described Peter Obi as a liar and someone who should not be trusted. He said the former governor of Anambra state promised not to leave APGA but ended up leaving the party. Bayo Onanuga stated that after leaving APGA, Peter Obi has continued to move from party to another.
According to Bayo Onanuga on his official X account;
