Same Philosophy Of Tinubu Has Been Replicated By Obi Because Obi Has Proved Its All About Him -Dalung

According to a report by Daily Post, on Wednesday May 13, 2026, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Solomon Dalung, has accused Peter Obi of placing personal ambition above the collective interest of Nigerians following his exit from the ADC coalition.

‎Dalung stated that the coalition was created to challenge what he described as reckless political leadership, arrogance in government and a growing sense of entitlement among political actors.

‎According to him, Obi’s decision to leave the coalition showed that his presidential ambition had become more important than the broader struggle to address the hardship facing Nigerians.

‎The former minister argued that many politicians within the coalition sacrificed their own ambitions in order to build a united opposition front ahead of the 2027 election, he questioned why some leaders were unwilling to do the same for the sake of unity.

‎Dalung claimed that Obi’s actions now reflect the same style of politics the opposition had criticised in President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress, despite the recent political realignments, Dalung insisted that the ADC remains stronger than other opposition parties.

‎He maintained that the party is still in the best position to challenge for power in the 2027 presidential election and added that the ADC continues to attract support from different political groups and remains the major opposition platform to watch ahead of the polls.
