Yoruba Nollywood actor Ebun Oloyede, has shared a shocking story about his colleague Dele Odule.
Speaking in an interview with FeelRightNews TV, Oloyede explained that Dele Odule called him and two of his friends one day.
He told them to come with him to a shop where coffins were sold. At the shop, Odule broke down in tears.
He told them he felt his death was very near. He begged Oloyede to buy a proper coffin for his burial.
Odule explained that his life was not moving forward. He said that even with his education, nothing good was coming his way.
His acting career was also not paying off. He mentioned that he had lived in poverty for too long.
He did not want his death and funeral to look poor as well. That was why he begged his friends to get a good coffin for him.
Oloyede said he cried on that very day. He could not hold back his tears hearing his friend talk like that.
But today, the same man who once asked for a coffin now owns many houses and lands across Nigeria.
He also has a film village. Oloyede shared the story to show how life can change in unexpected ways. He used it as a lesson on never giving up, even when things look very bad.
His words: “Dele Odule asked me and two of his friends to accompany him to a shop where coffins were sold. He cried and told me that he might die anytime soon. He begged me to buy a befitting coffin for his burial. He said that despite his education, his life was not yielding anything positive, neither was his career. He then told us that since he had lived a life of poverty, his death and what came after should not look wretched. That was why he begged us to buy a proper coffin for his burial. I cried on the day he said this. Today, the man who once predicted death for himself now has several houses and lands across the country, including a film village.”…….See More
