Yusuf made the remarks during an interview on Daily Trust TV, where he spoke about political statements, national security issues, and the expectations placed on individuals seeking the office of President in Nigeria.

Yusuf further stated that leadership demands the ability to make decisions based on national interest rather than emotional, regional, or sectional considerations.

He went on to question Obi’s readiness for the office of President, arguing that governance requires more than popularity or political appeal, but also a deep appreciation of institutional frameworks and constitutional processes.

In his words, Yusuf said: “Does he have the mental capacity and appreciation of what it means to be a president? Can he be someone who can steer a country out of a problem. If he is still within the cocoon of his ethnic imprisonment? There’s a problem there,” he added……See More
