In a recent statement via his official X account, former Nigerian aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to ongoing political tensions involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party figure Peter Obi.
In his statement titled, ‘THE IRRETRIEVABLE BREAKDOWN OF MARRIAGE BETWEEN ATIKU ABUBAKAR AND PETER OBI’, Fani-Kayode commented on President Bola Tinubu and recent divisions within opposition coalitions.
”The biggest mistake that anyone can make when dealing with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT is to think he is an ordinary person. He is not. No matter what you throw at him he comes out on top,” he wrote.
Fani-Kayode described President Bola Tinubu as a strong and resilient leader who should not be underestimated, he said Tinubu possesses rare qualities that make him difficult to defeat in politics and added that Tinubu is patient, strategic, and able to withstand political pressure, he claimed that many people misjudge him at first but later realize his strength.
He further stated that he once opposed Tinubu but later changed his position, he stated that he now supports the president and believes others have also shifted their stance, according to him, Tinubu is accommodating and forgiving to former opponents who later join him, he said this quality makes him politically successful.
He commented on opposition politics, saying there is division within coalitions that include supporters of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and other political figures, he mentioned the African Democratic Congress African Democratic Congress and its internal disagreements and suggested that rival camps are struggling to work together effectively………See More
