Ralph Nwosu Knows I Will Never Harm Him Because He Has Always Been There For Me As A Friend -Ameh

In a recent interview on Symfoni TV, High Chief Peter Ameh, former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), spoke on political relationships, coalition building, and personal trust within Nigeria’s opposition politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the interview, Ameh stated, “Ralph Nwosu knows I will never harm him because he has always been there for me as a friend.” He made the remark while discussing his long-standing relationship with the founder of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ralph Nwosu, and the dynamics within political coalitions.

Ameh explained that despite ideological and strategic differences within opposition movements, personal friendships and mutual respect among political actors remain important for sustaining dialogue and cooperation.

He noted that his relationship with Nwosu predates recent political realignments, stressing that disagreements on party direction or coalition structure do not necessarily translate into personal conflict.

According to him, Nigeria’s political space is often misunderstood as being entirely adversarial, whereas in reality, many key figures maintain cordial relationships behind the scenes despite public disagreements.

Ameh further argued that trust and friendship among political leaders are essential ingredients for building stable coalitions capable of surviving electoral pressures and internal disputes.

He also referenced broader issues affecting opposition unity, including leadership struggles, zoning debates, and ideological differences that often weaken political platforms over time.

Ameh maintained that while political parties may split or realign, personal integrity and long-term relationships should remain intact to preserve stability within the democratic process.

He concluded by stating that as the 2027 elections approach, maintaining respectful relationships among political actors will be crucial in shaping the future of coalition politics and opposition collaboration in Nigeria…….See More
