Everyone Is Looking For Power But I Think Tinubu Has Earned His 2nd Term By What He Has Done -Arise

Senator Ayo Arise, a senior figure in the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, has openly declared his support for the second-term ambition of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying the President has earned another mandate based on his achievements in office.

Speaking during an interview with The Sun on Saturday, May 9, 2026, Arise stated that although many politicians are focused on obtaining power, Tinubu has distinguished himself through the policies and projects carried out under his administration.

According to the APC chieftain, the President’s performance since assuming office has convinced him that Tinubu deserves continued public support ahead of the next presidential election. He explained that the administration has embarked on infrastructure projects that could have long-term benefits for the country, particularly in the area of road construction.

Arise highlighted the Federal Government’s ongoing construction of concrete roads, describing them as durable projects capable of lasting for several decades. He maintained that such developments demonstrate the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and creating lasting economic value.

He said, “Yes, everybody is looking for power. But I think this President has earned his second term by what he has done. I will continue to advocate for that and I will continue to campaign for him.”

The former senator added that he remains committed to mobilizing support for Tinubu and promoting the administration’s achievements across the country. His comments come amid increasing political discussions about the 2027 general election and growing debates over the performance of the current government.
