Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has shared details of a personal experience involving a young woman she accommodated in her home.
Speaking about the incident in an interview with Radio host, Daddy Freeze, she said, “I brought a pregnant girl into my house and helped her, but she became envious of me and ungrateful. She started secretly recording me in my private moments,” describing how an act of support later turned into a troubling situation.
According to her, the arrangement began out of concern for the young woman’s safety and well-being. She provided shelter and extended financial assistance to help her and her child, committing significant resources during that period. The environment was built on trust, with the expectation that the support would help the young woman rebuild her life.
She explained that the situation changed when she discovered that the same individual had allegedly been recording her without consent. The recordings were said to have been shared externally, raising concerns about privacy and personal boundaries. Further developments suggested that there were attempts to present her in a negative light through coordinated actions.
The experience, she noted, was particularly difficult because it came from someone she had supported. Despite this, she emphasized the importance of remaining focused and not allowing the situation to define her actions going forward.
She also highlighted the role of guidance and reflection in helping her move past the incident, choosing to prioritise peace and personal growth.
Her account has sparked discussions around trust, the risks involved in offering help without safeguards, and the importance of protecting personal privacy in close relationships…….See More
