According to TheCable on May 2, 2026, controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has welcomed a baby boy with Omobewaji Ewatomi, one of his partners.
Omobewaji, also known as Bewaji, shared the news on her Instagram page on Friday, where she thanked God for a safe delivery.
She simply wrote “Alhamdulillah” to express her gratitude and also tagged what appears to be the Instagram page created for the newborn.
The page revealed that the baby boy has been named Jamal Iremide.
Portable also took to Instagram to celebrate the arrival of his son and appreciate Omobewaji for bringing him joy.
In his post, he prayed for her and thanked her for making him happy.
The singer welcomed the child on the same day he lost to social media comedian Carter Efe in a celebrity boxing match, where Carter Efe won by unanimous decision.

He explained through his Instagram story that while he had hoped to return home with a championship belt, he considered the arrival of his baby a greater blessing.
According to him, a belt can be bought with money, but a child is far more valuable and cannot be replaced.
He also revealed that while he was in the ring fighting, Bewaji was in labour and eventually gave birth to their baby boy.
Portable added that he had wanted to win a third belt for his children, having already won two in the past, but said he was satisfied celebrating the birth of his son instead.
The newborn is the third child Portable shares with Bewaji.
In 2022, the singer had publicly stated that he hoped to marry 12 wives before turning 40.
