Oluwale Oluwasegun, an engineer and content creator, recounted his journey to the UK on Talk to B. He said a friend got admission into a UK college through his sister. He explained that he saw his friend off at the airport and decided to follow the same path. He noted that he left Nigeria in 2005.
He argues that there was no Japa trend back then. He says he was simply chasing opportunity. He believes the rest is history after he made the move.
Oluwale Oluwasegun said: “A friend of mine, his sister in the UK helped him to get admission into one college. So secure the college and then pay for the admission and then boom he was given visa to come to the UK just like that. I’ve never been to the airport. I saw him off to the airport. As soon as he left, I had to go through his footsteps. I think he left 2004 so I went in 2005. The same process and then like they said, the rest is history.”……See More
