Bayo Onanuga, the senior special adviser and Information and Strategy to President Tinubu has slammed the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi for betraying national icon and APGA leader, Ikemba Odimegwu-Ojukwu.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former Anambra State Peter pledged never to leave the APGA, but turned around and dumped the party.
His comments came amid the heated arguments that trailed Peter Obi’s comments that he will not spend a day longer in office if elected as president in 2027.
The former Anambra State governor, it can be recalled, had reiterated his commitment to a single term in office, arguing that his stance was born out of his desire for stability and national cohesion.
However, according to Bayo Onanuga, an individual who betrayed a national icon like Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu-Ojukwu, the Ikemba of Nnewi cannot be trusted.
