In a video shared by Channels TV, Chinedu Igbo, the NSCDC commandant in Delta State, said the NSCDC received intel that illegal drugs were being sold at an uncompleted building in Asaba and he sent officers there
Igbo said the building had three entrances, which were reinforced with iron. He said it took his officers 3 days to enter the building
Igbo said his officers surprisingly discovered several underground tunnels that served as escape routes in the building. He added that he believes the building was used for holding kidnapped victims and organ harvesting, not just illegal drug activity
In Igbo’s words: “That took us about 3 days trying to gain access into that place. So it took the ingenuity of these my men to use a blowtorch on top of the building to gain access into the house. And then to our greatest surprise when you gain access into the house you begin to see a lot of outlets. That means when they got hints that security men were around those outlets are for their escape, different underground tunnels for escape”
