In an interview with Adeola Fayehun, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the NDC, said FCT Minister Nyesom Wike remains his friend despite their political differences
Obi said old photos from when he and Wike were allies showed Wike looked healthier and happier then. He also said if he becomes president he would not witch-hunt Wike or any of his political opponents because that would waste Nigeria’s time and resources.
In Obi’s words: “Well if you look at the pictures of Mr Wike when we were moving together you can see how healthy he was and looking very well. So that means when we were together he was a much more happier person and enjoying himself. I don’t have anything against Wike, he remains my friend. In fact I heard Wike said if I become president he will be one of the first victims. I am not campaigning to be president to start pursuing people”
