He Will Still Lose Because The People Are Not Happy With Him -Deji Fabiyi Reveals

The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Deji Fabiyi, has expressed confidence that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be defeated if he seeks a second term in the 2027 presidential election, citing what he described as widespread dissatisfaction with the current administration.

Fabiyi made the remarks during an interview on News Central TV while discussing the country’s political climate, the opposition’s prospects, and the chances of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the next general election.

According to the ADC chieftain, many Nigerians have become increasingly frustrated by the country’s economic challenges, insecurity, and the rising cost of living. He argued that these issues have significantly shaped public opinion and could influence voters’ decisions at the polls.

Referring to the political situation, Fabiyi said, “He will still lose because the people are not happy with him.”

He maintained that dissatisfaction with the current administration extends across different parts of the country and suggested that many citizens are more concerned about the realities of their daily lives than political rhetoric. According to him, the opposition believes Nigerians will seek a change in leadership if prevailing economic and security conditions remain unchanged.

Fabiyi further stated that voters are likely to assess the government’s performance based on key issues such as inflation, unemployment, food prices, and insecurity rather than campaign promises. He added that political parties hoping to win public support must present practical and realistic solutions to the nation’s pressing challenges.

The ADC official also expressed optimism that opposition parties would be able to build stronger cooperation and present a united front capable of offering Nigerians a credible alternative in 2027.
