Deborah James has revealed purchasing a Kia Rio vehicle for her husband’s Uber business along with a phone and all operational requirements, yet continuously had to send additional money for repairs that never seemed to end.
During the Talk-to-B interview, James explained that this represented her second attempt to support her husband’s Uber venture after an initial attempt with a borrowed car also failed, draining her resources through constant repair expenses.
According to James, every business opportunity she created for her husband encountered mysterious problems requiring more investment, leading her to question whether genuine technical issues existed or if he was deliberately sabotaging ventures she funded.
Deborah James said: “I got the car, Kia Rio. I got it, paid for it. Got a phone for him, all the demands, all the requirements that the board requires for Uber, I did everything. I was the one that did everything. So he started it. Afterwards, he, you know, another complaint. He will call today he wants to repair. I’ll send money. So it became very tiring and I began to drag feet like what’s going on? Do this, it won’t work. Do that, it won’t work. You know, fast forward.
