In a recent video shared on Facebook on Sunday, May 10, 2026, Primate Elijah Ayodele spoke about Nigeria’s political direction ahead of the 2027 general elections, focusing on the competitiveness of the presidential race.
In the video, Ayodele stated, “In a free and fair election, the APC is not going to win the presidential election.” He was referring to the All Progressives Congress, suggesting that the party may face significant challenges if the election is conducted under fully transparent and competitive conditions.
