Mr. Awofe Afolayan Ariyo, a veteran Nollywood actor, has shared how he reacted after Fathia Balogun once told him he would appear in a movie without prior notice.
In an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Awofe explained that the incident happened when Fathia and her ex-husband, Saheed Balogun, were filming close to his residence.
He said he was about to leave his house when Fathia approached him, greeted him warmly, and informed him that they were shooting a movie and had already included him in the cast.
Awofe said he was not comfortable with the way the invitation was handled, stressing that such decisions should be discussed properly beforehand. He noted that he questioned her, asking if she would accept being invited to a film in that same manner.
According to him, Fathia later apologised after he expressed his displeasure over the situation.

“I did something a time like that. Fathia Balogun and Saheed Balogun came to shoot a film around my house, and I wanted to drive out. So, Fathia ran towards me and greeted me. She also said, ‘We’re shooting a movie and you’re among, sir.’ I said if it was another person, I would have placed a curse. She asked, ‘What happened?’ I asked, ‘Is that the same way I invite you and your husband to my production?’ She then apologised.”……See More
