Omoyele Sowore, former presidential candidate of the AAC, has spoken about why he asked Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court in Abuja to recuse himself from his ongoing cybercrime trial
In a video shared by Worship Media TV, Sowore said he no longer had confidence in Justice Umar’s ability to handle the case fairly
Sowore said he even told Justice Umar that he was the same judge who once asked his lawyer to kneel in court in front of everyone. He said the judge looked surprised when he raised the issue directly before him in court
In Sowore’s words: “I said to him, ‘Look at what you have done, you are the judge who asked my lawyer to come and kneel down in front of us. I have never heard that before’. He was looking at me, he was surprised. Maybe he did not think I will raise it”……See More
