Abayomi Arabambi, while speaking during an interview on Channels Television on Thursday, April 23, 2026, made a revealing claim about events leading up to the 2023 general elections, particularly concerning the role of Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo.
In his remarks, Arabambi suggested that there had been prior warnings about Peter Obi’s intentions within the Labour Party, but those cautions were ultimately ignored.
According to Arabambi, Governor Soludo had taken a proactive step by communicating his concerns directly to party stakeholders. He alleged that Soludo issued a formal warning, advising them to be cautious about Peter Obi’s entry into the party.
