Hon. Uche Onyeaguocha has urged Nigerians not to give up in the struggle for freedom and justice, saying real change can only happen when citizens are ready to make sacrifices.
Speaking during an interview on SYMFONI TV on Saturday, May 9, 2026, Uche said Nigerians must be prepared to face hardship, intimidation, arrest, detention, and even imprisonment if they truly want to defend their rights and secure a better future for the country.
Onyeaguocha said people should not be discouraged by tear gas or threats during protests, stressing that citizens must continue resisting oppression despite the risks. He noted that those fighting for freedom must be ready to endure suffering, noting that sacrifice is part of political struggles.
He also said President Bola Tinubu and Nuhu Ribadu once went into exile during past political battles in Nigeria.
He said
“We must be ready to be driven into into exile. Who among these people did not go into exile? Tinubu ran away into exile. Nuhu Ribadu, who is his National Security Adviser, ran away into exile.”…….See More
