Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker has taken to his official X handle to send a cryptic message across to the African Democratic Congress, ADC. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the party was outdated and ineffective.
The African Democratic Congress, ADC was recently singled out for special knocks amid the crisis that threatened to prevent the party from presenting a strong opposition to the ruling APC in 2027.
Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former federal lawmaker in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, described the party as outdated and ineffective.
According to his statements, he admitted that while political parties were vehicles to power, some cannot guarantee a smooth sail to power as they were not only bedevilled by internal crisis, but non-existent structures.
He further pointed out that those who seek to wrestle power off the ruling party should be aware of the difference between setting up a new political party and acquiring a political party.
The former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker, to drive down his points, cited the case of the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi who left the Labour Party only to be met with strong opposition from Nafiu Bala Gombe in the ADC.
