Yunusa Tanko has reacted to recent comments made by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso regarding allegations linked to Peter Obi.
The controversy followed claims surrounding reports that Northerners were denied identification cards in the Southeast.
Responding to the issue, Kwankwaso stated that the incident did not occur in Anambra State and was not connected to Peter Obi.
According to him, the matter happened in Imo State and he personally intervened to resolve it.
Reacting through a statement posted on his official X account, Tanko welcomed Kwankwaso’s clarification.
He said he was pleased that the former Kano governor had publicly confirmed what Obi’s supporters had consistently maintained.
Tanko wrote, “I am so glad that what we have been saying has been cleared by His Excellency, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.”
