Oseloka Obaze, a former People’s Democratic Party, PDP Chieftain and gubernatorial candidate has warned those criticizing the former governor of Anambra State and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi to desist from their actions.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that those who were bent of tarnishing his image risk attracting the same treatment meted out to popular poet and columnist, Sam Omatseye.
Sam Omatseye, it can be recalled, faced intense public backlash after he published a journal tagged ‘Obi-tuary’, which targeted the 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
The statements from Oseloka Obaze came following the verbal attacks being directed towards the former Anambra State governor.
Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister for Aviation and Nigeria’s current ambassador designate to South Africa was specifically called out to desist from attacking him or face the consequences.
However, while he maintained that the NDC Chieftain had warned then to desist from reciprocating, he believed that most members of the Obidient movement, Village boys movement and OK movement might not show restraint.
