Lere Olayinka, the senior special adviser on media to the FCT minister and former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has taken to his official X handle to react after the minister was spotted at the University of Port Harcourt on Friday June 6th, 2026.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the former governor was present to deliver a lecture on leadership and development.
The FCT minister, it can be recalled, had been relatively absent from public gatherings in recent weeks due to his itinerary. However, he found time to pay a courtesy visit to the prestigious school.
From the footage which his senior special adviser shared on his verified X account, the FCT minister can be seen arriving at the school with his numerous security detail.
The management, staff, and students of the University of Port Harcourt were also seen welcoming the former governor.
