APC Primary: “I Challenge Kaduna State Party Chairman To Tell The World If Any Was Conducted.”-Atua

Engr. Michael Ayuba Auta, a prominent All Progressives Congress senatorial aspirant, has thrown a heavy challenge directly at his party leadership over the integrity of the internal voting processes in Kaduna State. His remarks have sparked intense conversations across the political landscape regarding how candidates are selected ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

According to a video posted on the Official YouTube channel of Channels Television on Friday May 29, 2026, while addressing the fallout of the party internally, he fiercely contested the official narrative. He firmly stated, “I challenge the Kaduna State party chairman to tell the world if any primary election was actually conducted for the House of Representatives, Senate, or State Assembly.”

The aggrieved politician expressed deep frustration over what he described as a complete lack of transparency and proper democratic procedures during the exercise. He insisted that party members and contestants were left completely in the dark, asserting that standard guidelines like proper delegate accreditation and structured voting centers were visibly missing from the entire process.

Furthermore, the aspirant emphasized that political organizations must strictly respect their own regulations to maintain credibility among the electorate. He warned that bypassing internal democracy could severely damage the political fortune of the party in the state, potentially creating major advantages for opposition groups who are closely monitoring the unfolding situation ahead of the elections.

In his concluding remarks, the senatorial hopeful urged the national executives and the presidency to intervene immediately to correct these perceived irregularities. He stated that restoring the confidence of the loyal party members requires a transparent review, ensuring justice prevails so that the organization can head into the next general elections as a unified front…..See More
