Iran: Those Colluding With Israel To Sow Division Will Be Held To Account -Araghchi

According to a report by The Times Of Israel on May 14, 2026, Iran issued a warning to the United Arab Emirates after claiming it had prior knowledge of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reported visit to Abu Dhabi during the now-paused joint US-Israeli military campaign against Tehran. The statement was delivered by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi through a post on X.

Araghchi asserted that Iran’s intelligence agencies had already informed the country’s leadership about the alleged trip before Netanyahu publicly acknowledged it. “Netanyahu has now publicly revealed what Iran’s security services long ago conveyed to our leadership,” he wrote, though he did not explain why Tehran had not disclosed the information earlier when it supposedly became aware of it.

The Iranian official used the opportunity to criticize countries cooperating with Israel during the regional tensions. Referring to the UAE indirectly, Araghchi warned against aligning with Israel against Iran, saying such actions would have consequences. “Enmity with the Great People of Iran is a foolish gamble,” he stated.

He further condemned what he described as cooperation with Israel, adding, “Collusion with Israel in doing so: unforgivable.” The remarks reflected Tehran’s continuing anger toward states it believes have supported Israeli actions during the conflict.

Araghchi also warned that countries helping Israel deepen divisions in the Middle East would eventually face repercussions. “Those colluding with Israel to sow division will be held to account,” he said.
