Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has described the recent killing of a suspect by a police officer, ASP Nuhu Usman, as shocking and difficult to explain.
Speaking during an interview on Channels Television’s Morning Brief, Edafe expressed concern over the incident, stressing that the action of the officer was unjustifiable and does not reflect the values of the Nigeria Police Force.
While responding, he said, “I will start with the issue at hand, which is a very sad one. In my six years in public relations, this is my most difficult moment, because dealing with an incident that cannot be explained is very challenging. There is simply no explanation for this.
“That policeman—I just don’t know what was wrong with him. As police officers, we cannot attribute problems to spirituality, but that may not be far from what some might think, because that is the only explanation one might attempt to give for his actions.”……See More
