The former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X account on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 to react to the letter that the leadership of the African Democratic Congress, ADC wrote to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Kudirat Kere-Ekun.
This came after the Supreme Court reserved judgement in the case involving the leadership of the African Democratic Congress.
In the post that Atiku Abubakar shared on his official X account, he said democracy in Nigeria is in serious danger. The former Vice President of Nigeria said he doesn’t want to believe that the judiciary is on the side of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to Atiku Abubakar on his official X account;
“However, I do not want to believe that the judiciary, long regarded as the last hope of the common man, would align with the ruling APC in any effort that could undermine or destroy our democratic foundations”……..See More
