Whenever I Want To Go To Church My Muslim Husband Tells Me Not To Let His Parents Know -Ajirotutu

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actress Radeke Ajirotutu popularly known as Mama Radeke, has shared how her late Muslim husband supported her Christian faith while protecting her from his family.

Speaking in an interview on Agbaletu TV, the actress described her husband as a very understanding man who was not against any religion.

Whenever she wanted to go to church, she would tell him. He would always agree but give her one warning.

He told her not to let his parents know about her church visits. His family came from a deeply rooted Islamic background.

The only request he made was about their children. He told her that all the children she had for him should choose Islam as their religion. She agreed and did exactly that.

Ajirotutu explained that her husband never stopped her from worshipping as a Christian.

He simply asked her to keep it private from his family to avoid trouble. This arrangement worked for them while he was alive.

Her words: “My husband is very understanding. He is not against any religion. When my husband was alive, whenever I wanted to go to church I would tell him, and he would tell me not to let his parents know because they are from a deeply rooted Islamic family. The only thing he told me was that all the children I have for him should choose Islam as their religion, and I did.”…..See More
