According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he disclosed that the former governor was fully in control of the party structures.

From the post which Lere Olayinka shared, the former governor can be seen arriving at the national secretariat in Wadata, accompanied by a heavy security detail.
Several members of the party can also be seen lining up to welcome the FCT minister, indicating that he was in full control of the party structures.
It can be recalled that the People’s Democratic Party had been embroidered in a deep internal crisis, with many fearing that the party might go into extinction.
