Lere Olayinka, the Media Aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has reacted to a statement by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar that he remains a central figure in the 2027 presidential race and will not step aside for any other aspirant.

In his response shared on social media, Olayinka mocked the political aspirations of former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi within this shifting atmosphere.
He suggested that given Atiku’s firm refusal to relinquish his lead, Obi should begin searching for an alternative political platform if he hopes to realize his own presidential ambitions.
Olayinka wrote, “As it is now, Pitobi should be looking for another party. DAZZOL.”
During the Arise News broadcast, Atiku Abubakar also made a definitive declaration regarding his political future, stating that the 2027 general election will be his final contest for the presidency.
After several decades and multiple attempts at the nation’s top office, the former Vice President clarified that he is motivated by a desire to fix the country’s current trajectory.
He insisted that this final run is about legacy and national restoration, marking the absolute end of his journey as a presidential candidate…..See More
