Amaechi Was Made To Sit On athe Floor a when He Was Going To Monitor An Election Against Fayose -Sowore

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has accused opposition leaders of facing the consequences of their own past actions, pointing to how they once blocked rival political activities when they held power.

Speaking in an interview with Platinum TV, Sowore recalled a specific incident involving former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi. “The guys in the ADC started this when they were in government, the idea of standing in the way of the opposition. I remember years ago when Amaechi was made to sit on the floor when he was going to Ekiti to monitor an election for APC against Fayose in PDP, and they also did the same to people when they were in power. They obstructed opposition activities many times.”

Sowore, however, condemned the recent harassment of ADC members in getting an event centre for it convention by the FCT minister’s office.
