Senator Shehu Sani, a renowned human rights activist and former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker has disclosed the challenges he faced while in the corridors of power. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that the they spent almost four years escorting their leader to multiple courts in Abuja.
The statements were contained in a recent post which the former Kaduna central senatorial district lawmaker shared on his official X handle on Tuesday April 21st, 2026.
Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President and Kwara State governor it can be recalled, had been on the spotlight recently after he was dragged by governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, the former Senate President, according to Shehu Sani, was accused of forgery, criminal conspiracy, amongst several other charges.
He further pointed out that himself and former Kogi State lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye were not left out as they faced trials for related offences.
