Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has weighed in on the controversy surrounding the recent Nigerian Air Force operation in Yobe State, following comments by key security and political figures defending the strike.
In a post on his official X handle on Monday, April 13, 2026, Sani referenced statements credited to former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai (retd.), and Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, who both reportedly justified the airstrike by describing the targeted location as a terrorist hideout.
