What I Can Tell You Is That Everyday It Gets Harder For Iran To Pay Its Soldiers -Matthew Whitaker

According to Fox Tv on Monday, May 11th 2026, Matthew Whitaker has declared that the United States maintains strong leverage over Iran as tensions continue over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions and the security of the Strait of Hormuz.

Speaking during a television interview, Whitaker defended the administration of Donald Trump and insisted that increasing economic pressure on Iran is weakening the country’s ability to sustain its military and economy.

“The United States has tremendous leverage,” Whitaker said. “I will not comment about alleged intelligence product, what I can tell you, everyday it gets harder for Iran to pay its soldiers and to continue its economy and what they are trying to do, wait us out.”

Whitaker suggested that Iran’s strategy is to prolong negotiations in hopes that pressure from sanctions and military actions will eventually ease. However, he maintained that the White House remains committed to forcing a favorable outcome for the American people.

“The president is resolved to win this situation for the American people,” he stated.

According to Whitaker, the administration’s definition of victory includes securing stability in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz while ending Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“By winning, I mean getting a deal that opens up Strait of Hormuz, and eliminating and ends their nuclear ambition and other things he’s proposed in the negotiations,” he explained.

The Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world’s most critical oil shipping routes, making tensions in the region a major concern for global energy markets and international trade.

Whitaker also argued that President Trump currently holds the upper hand in negotiations with Tehran.

“President Trump holds all the cards and will hold them until he gets a deal for the American people,” he said. “The world is better because of that.”……See More
