LP Has A Problem, Obi Ran Away; PDP Has A problem, Atiku Ran Away, Now Forming A Faction -Remi Omowaiye

In a recent interview shared by TVC News, the Executive Director of the Federal Housing Authority and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Remi Omowaiye, criticized ongoing coalition efforts among opposition figures, describing them as disorganized and lacking clear direction.

Speaking on the political developments ahead of future elections, Omowaiye questioned the credibility of opposition leaders and their commitment to party building. He argued that many of them abandoned their parties during crises instead of strengthening them from within.

He stated, “The Labour Party has a problem, Peter Obi ran away. The PDP has a problem, Atiku Abubakar ran away, and today they are forming a faction.”

According to him, such actions reflect inconsistency and weaken the opposition’s ability to present a united front. He maintained that forming factions instead of building strong political institutions shows a lack of seriousness.

Omowaiye further compared the situation to the formation of the APC in 2015, noting that it was achieved through the merger of established political parties rather than internal divisions. He emphasized that successful political movements require structure, patience, and leadership.
