Veteran Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu has revealed why he initially turned down calls to venture into politics despite his widespread popularity in Northern Nigeria.
Speaking during an interview on the WithChude podcast, the respected actor shared that many people encouraged him to contest for political office, believing his influence and public acceptance could easily translate into electoral success. However, he made it clear that he was not interested at the time.
In his words, “People told me to join politics because of my popularity in the north, but I said no.”
