I Regret Going To America. If I Knew About The Problems Beforehand, I Wont Leave Nigeria -Adewunmi

Actress Juwon Adewunmi, during an interview with Abiola Adebayo on Talk 2 B, revealed that sometimes she regrets that relocated to the United States of America from Nigeria.

According to her, she said that sometimes when she is deep in thought, she cries due to the demanding tasks given to her at her place of work.

She said, “I regret going to America. If I had known about all these problems beforehand, I would not have left Nigeria. Sometimes I wonder, ‘Was I sent away from Nigeria?’ That place is not a bed of roses. You will work like someone who is about to collapse. I used to tell people, ‘You people don’t really work in Nigeria like they do here.’

“A salesgirl in Nigeria can be working and still be using her phone, but in America, you dare not. You will be on your feet for 12 hours without touching your phone. The shortest shift is about 8 hours, and that is why I say we don’t really work in Nigeria. God has made things easier for us; it is just that the challenges happening here and there are difficult.

“In America, even the weather alone can make you sick. It was in America that I understood the meaning of words like depression, bipolar disorder, and others. Over there, you can just sit down and feel sad, unlike here—where even if you don’t have money, you can still find happiness.”…..See More
