In Maiduguri I Saw Soldiers & Boko Haram On Opposite Sides And There Was No Gunfire Exchange -Adebayo

Adewole Adebayo, SDP presidential candidate, has stated that he once saw some soldiers and Boko Haram fighters positioned close to each other in Maiduguri without exchanging gunfire

Speaking in an interview with Nevon HQ, Adebayo said the two sides appeared to be separated by an invisible line. He stated that the Boko Haram fighters were moving around on one side while the soldiers remained on the other.

Adebayo said it appeared there was an understanding that the soldiers would not attack the insurgents as long as the insurgents did not attack them.
