I Introduced A Lady I Wanted To Marry To My Very Good Friend, But He Snatched Her From Me -Olagoroye

In an interview with FeelrightNews TV correspondent, Mr. Julius Bankole Olagoroye, an adopted son of the late Samuel Oshoffa, founder of the Celestial Church of Christ (C.C.C.), revealed a very painful ordeal he experienced in a relationship.

While speaking, he said: “The most painful experience I had was when I wanted to marry a lady I had trained from childhood. If you listen to Gbenga Adewusi’s songs, I produced all his albums. When I was living in Oshodi then, God linked me up with an elder who was a music director at The Apostolic Church. He accommodated me and even encouraged me.

“Along the line, three of this man’s children joined my musical band, and we used to go for performances together. This man had a daughter who was very good; she used to back me up whenever I was singing. Over time, the man encouraged me to marry the girl because he liked me so much.

“The girl was very talented, to the extent that there was no popular artist she had not worked with. I also had a very good friend who wanted to produce an album. Sunny Ade was to sponsor the album, and I was asked to produce it for my friend.

“We were already preparing for our marriage. Along the line, I introduced the lady to my friend and told him that I would love my wife-to-be to back him up while producing the songs. As soon as I left them to attend to something else, I didn’t know my friend had already collected her number.

“In 1992, a journalist with Republic Newspaper, Uncle Tunde, invited both of us to an event as special guests. On the day we were supposed to go, my fiancée told me she wasn’t going. She didn’t inform the journalist that she would be unavailable; instead, she said she wanted to visit her sister in Shagamu.

“Uncle Tunde and I followed her to the garage, and she boarded a bus in our presence. However, the event we were to attend together was scheduled to start at 12:00 a.m., but Uncle Tunde and I arrived by 10:00 p.m. Because of that, we decided to stop by a friend’s studio at Tafawa Balewa Square.

“On getting to the studio, I met my fiancée and my friend together inside the recording booth. That day, I felt like the ground should open and swallow me. It was the first time I experienced such betrayal. The lady later got married to my friend and had two children with him.

“For five years, I couldn’t get myself together, and I developed a mental health problem. I could no longer compose or produce music. It was someone God used to revive me. The matter I am talking about caused so much shame that her parents eventually died from it.”…….See More
