Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and former chairman of the national human rights commission has taken to his official X handle to express his disappointment at the inability of certain leaders to fulfill their promises to the people. According to his statements, he disclosed how former president Muhammadu Buhari and Nasiru El-Rufai failed to deliver on their promises.
Nasiru El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State and ADC Chieftain was recently dragged out for special knocks for failing to deliver on his promises to the people of Kaduna State.
Chidi Odinkalu, a renowned human rights activist and legal practitioner in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, voiced his displeasure over the actions of the former governor and president Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that on their inauguration in 2015, the two political heavyweights identified insecurity as their top priority.
However, according to the former national human rights commission chairman, when the two political heavyweights left office after eight years in power, there was much weeping and gnashing of teeth.
He further pointed out that under their watch, insecurity was more than mere abdication, with their actions actually perpetrating and perpetuating it.
