‎According to a report by Nigerian Tribune, on Sunday April 12, 2026, the United States delegation has left Islamabad, Pakistan, after peace talks with Iran ended in deadlock.

The talks were led by US Vice President JD Vance and lasted about 21 hours but produced no agreement, major disagreements focused on Iran’s nuclear programme and American demands for firm commitments.
