El-Rufai Reacts As Abia Lawmaker Moves A Motion That Tinubu Should Be Summoned To National Assembly

A member of the House of Representatives representing Kaduna North Federal Constituency, Hon. Bello El-Rufai, has publicly applauded his colleague, Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, following a motion presented on the floor of the National Assembly concerning delays in the funding of constituency projects.

Bello El-Rufai made his position known through a post on his official X account on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, shortly after reports emerged about the motion sponsored by the lawmaker representing Aba North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State, Hon. Alex Mascot Ikwechegh.

According to reports, Ikwechegh urged the House to mandate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to appear before the National Assembly to address the persistent delay in the release of funds for constituency projects across the country.
