The Fact That Nigerians Are Angry Is Not Proof Nigerians Will Vote You -Bwala Slams Atiku And Obi

In an interview with Arise TV, Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, responded to criticisms raised by Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar over the hardship facing Nigerians, arguing that public frustration with the government did not automatically translate into electoral support for the opposition.

Bwala conceded that there may be some level of dissatisfaction among Nigerians but insisted that discontent alone was not enough to swing votes. “The fact that Nigerians are angry, if at all they are, with the president or the government is not sufficient proof that Nigerians will vote them,” he said.

He then challenged the opposition to go beyond capitalizing on public grievances and instead present a compelling and concrete alternative. “To vote you—on what basis? That they are angry with us or that you have a better alternative?” he questioned, framing the opposition’s campaign as one built on emotion rather than substance.

Bwala concluded by pointing out what he described as a glaring failure on the part of the opposition to articulate a credible vision for the country. “They have not been able till today to express that better alternative that they have,” he said, suggesting that without a clear and superior policy offering, the opposition’s chances of winning over Nigerian voters remained doubtful……See More
